from a spring 2025 collection, 'plant intelligence 2' is a dimensional, tactile work composed of wool, organic raffia, and reclaimed yarn. comprised by combining both tufted wool and meticulous, slow hand stitching of a variety of fibers.
the work was inspired by the artist's ongoing commune with nature reveling in the beauty and workings quietly happening around us at all time. this work melds together abstract references to biological function that join all living things.
